Contract Administration is an important aspect of the construction process. Once a tender has been accepted and a contract has been signed it is essential that the contract be effectively administered in order to achieve the desired results.

The contract administrator is responsible for ensuring that work proceeds in accordance with the specifications and drawings forming the construction documents. The administrator is also responsible in ensuring that payment for work completed is made in accordance with the contract.

If additional work is required, the administrator ensures that proper procedures are followed so as to protect the interests of all parties involved and avoid costly disputes.
