Partner

Mr. Marcoux, a partner with the firm, joined Cleland Jardine Engineering Ltd. in 1997, bringing with him a wealth of experience in many different fields of consulting, contracting and project administration. He has over 25 years experience in the local construction and engineering industry.

Mr. Marcoux is a licensed engineer in the provinces of Ontario and Québec, is a Gold Seal Certified project manager with the Canadian Construction Association and is a certified Project Management Professional with the “Project Management Institute”.

Mr. Marcoux is fully bilingual and holds a proficiency certificate from "Office de la Langue Française du Québec".

Mr. Marcoux heads the Project Management department and provides services in project management, design coordination, field review and contract administration.


PROJECTS:

CBUS Addition to the Existing Parliament Centre Block
40,000 ft² underground addition to the Parliament Hill Centre Block to house service spaces, mechanical and storage rooms. Our services included: contract administration for the Prime Consultant Culham Peterson Valentine, Calgary. Cost $20,000,000

Soloway Jewish Community Centre, Ottawa
Construction of a multi-facility Jewish Community Centre, including a gymnasium, full-size indoor pool, fitness centre, meeting facility, administration and kitchen space. Our services included project management of the design and construction phase. Cost $8,000,000

Rideauview Corporate Centre, Ottawa
Complete fit-up of approximately 60,000 ft² of high-tech office space at 885 Meadowlands Drive, including construction of a 24/7 state-of-the-art computer and telephone facility servicing clients world wide. Our services included, manage design and construction of all phases of project. Cost $2,100,000

Hillel Lodge Long-term Care Facility, Ottawa
Construction of a new three storey, 100,000 ft 2 100 bed, long term care facility. Our services included; management of design construction, fit-up and commissioning. Cost $15,400,000

New Canadian War Museum – Audio Visual Equipment
Under a Standing Offer with the Museum for project management services, Cleland Jardine Limited managed installation of the audio visual equipment in the new War Museum. In addition, also under the Project Management Standing Offer, Cleland Jardine Limited is currently assisting in setting up a five year fire alarm maintenance services.

Museum of Civilization (Various Projects)
Under standing offer with the Museum for project management services, Cleland Jardine Limited managed several projects, including improving access to the Digester Tower, upgrade of electrical rooms HVAC, upgrade of emergency lighting, improvement of exterior lighting and assisting in setting up a 5 year fire alarm maintenance contract.

Torbran Electric, Iber Road Stittsville
New 15,000 ft2 commercial/industrial facility, completed in September 2005. Our services included management of the design/build contract.

Museum of Nature Support Facility, Aylmer Quebec
Cleland Jardine Engineering Limited managed the seismic upgrade and remedial work to the existing structure, completed in the summer of 2005, at a value of approximately $1,500,000

HLS Linen Services New Facility, Ottawa Ontario
New 180,000 ft2, $35,000,000 automated laundry facility completed in the spring of 2007. Our services included management of the building construction and coordination of the equipment installation and fit up.
