Winchester District Memorial Hospital Addition and Renovation
This project involves the construction of a new 82,000 ft2, 2-storey horizontal expansion and renovation of 27,000 ft2 of the existing facility (including the removal/repair of existing load bearing elements). The building is composed of reinforced concrete slabs, concrete shear walls, and structural steel roof framing. Due to the age of the existing building and the extent of the renovations required, pre-design investigation services were performed to avoid any potential complications that could arise during the construction period. The construction budget for the project was $49,000,000.
